Thank you to all who came to my Lunar New Year celebration. Wishing all who celebrate a marvellous and prosperous Year of the Horse

It has been a busy start to 2026, and I'm pleased to say there have been several wins for local people already. My job is to fix the issues that matter most to you.

I convened a meeting between residents of Colindale Gardens, the CEO of their managing agents, Rendall and Rittner and the London MD of Barratt Redrow, the developer. I wanted to make sure that Colindale Gardens residents get answers from the most senior people about issues affecting their homes. It was a productive discussion and I’ll stay involved to make sure Rendall and Rittner and Barratt Redrow deliver on their commitments.

I’m delighted to announce the very first winner of my Local Business of the Month campaign: Brews & Views in Montrose Park!



So many of you got in touch to say how much you love this fantastic community café. From the friendly welcome and excellent coffee to the way it brings people together in one of the most beautiful spots in the park, Brews & Views is clearly a place that means a lot to our community. It’s exactly the kind of independent local business this campaign was created to celebrate.

I’m inviting parents and carers across our constituency to share their experiences of SEND education.



As your MP, I’ve met many families who are trying to navigate the SEND system, and I’ve always done my best to support them where I can. Too often I hear stories of long waits and children not getting the support they need. Behind every case is a family fighting for the right education and care for their child. These experiences can be heartbreaking, and they deserve to be heard.

There’s important news for leaseholders, and it’s especially significant for many residents here in our area.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in my Big Hendon Litter Pick.

On 4th July, we marked one year since the country voted for change and elected a Labour government committed to national renewal, fixing the foundations and building a fairer Britain. Not only that, but it also marked one year since I became Member of Parliament for our wonderful community.
