Over 100 volunteers help out with my first Big Hendon Litterpick

I was incredibly proud to see more than 100 volunteers come together across multiple locations around the constituency to help clean up our streets and public spaces. Residents of all ages rolled up their sleeves and worked side by side to make a real, visible difference to our local area.

This was the first time we’ve held a constituency-wide community litter pick, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic local groups and residents who care so deeply about our area. The enthusiasm, teamwork and community spirit on display throughout the day were truly inspiring.

Events like this show Hendon at its very best. Neighbours coming together, taking pride in where they live, and getting stuck in to improve their shared environment. Small actions, when multiplied across a community, have a powerful impact.

Thank you once again to everyone who gave their time to take part. I’m looking forward to organising more community clean-ups in the future and continuing to work with residents to keep our neighbourhood clean.
